This is the best port to dock at if you want to have an authentic Cozumel exploration since it’s right in the heart of San Miguel town. These will take you to the ferry terminal and you'll still need to take a ferry to Cozumel. The Playa ferry takes about 45 minutes to reach Cozumel, where you'll be dropped off at the ferry pier in San Miguel. This is only a four-minute drive or 11-minute walk from Punta Langosta, and a 10-minute drive from both Puerta Maya and the International Cruise Terminal. Visitors can take a bus called ADO from Cancun International Airport to Playa del Carmen.

Taxi / Taxi Van– There is no shortage of taxis around the three cruise docks. Just be sure to agree on a price before getting into the vehicle. Bathrooms, showers, taxi stand, life vests and locker rentals ($4 USD/day) are other amenities available at Paradise Beach. The beach is a bit rocky in some areas so bring water shoes if you have them. Advance reservations are not required but this beach fills up quickly when there are several cruise ships in port. It has restaurants, bars, and shops, including the usual cruise port staples like Del Sol and Diamonds International.
